B65-722 IVORY SECTOR RULE. Dollond. 6" legs with round brass hinge. Includes brass plugs for use of a compass. Very lightly yellowed, one crack by hinge and slightly sprung, otherwise very clean. The Dollond family were opticians and instrument makers beginning with Peter Dollond in 1750; this one is marked simply "Dollond London" so there's no way to know which Dollond made it but it looks early. Good+ 200-400
