B65-452 FOLDING IVORY YARDSTICK. Thornhill. Six-fold, three foot, unbound with German silver hinges. Marked "Thornhill 144 New Bond St." along the edge. Thornhill was primarily a cutlery firm, but were also silversmiths and makers of other luxury goods. Rees does not list them as a rulemaker, and the rule may actually have been made by someone else for Thornhill. Straight and tight and only very lightly yellowed, missing one face pin. Fine 200-400
