B65-511 KNOWLES-TYPE FORE PLANE. Unmarked, but identical to the plane shown in Figure 3 of PTAMPIA II which, according to Roger, was made for hardware dealer James Cook of Terre Haute, IN. 19" sole, 2-1/2" D.R. Barton cutter. The fill on this one is an exotic wood with beautiful flame figure. We've seen a couple of these, very well made and rare. From the collection of Steve Dice. Fine 500-1000
