B65-347 SCRAPER PLANE. Eclipse Plane Co. Nickel plated version of the very rare scraper plane patented in 1874 by two guys from Buchanan, MI, and manufactured by the Eclipse Plane Co. of Coshocton, OH. See PTAMPIA I, Figure 168. Patent date and manufacturer nicely cast around the knob. Nickel faded and worn, wood very clean noting a chip out of the knob. One of the nicer ones we've seen. From the collection of Harold Unruh. Good+ 600-1200
