b61-598 INFILL JOINTER PLANE. Norris No. A1 IOB. Steel body with dovetailed 22-1/2" sole, dark rosewood infill, original marked 2-1/2" iron. There are a couple of minor scratches near the heel but the wood is otherwise immaculate, a few spots of easily cleanable surface rust. The box has wear and some split seams but is intact, label is about 50% and just legible. A superb example of the pinnacle of the infill planemaker's art. Fine 4000-6000
