b61-345 ADJUSTABLE FENCE PLOW PLANE. Morris Patent. The scissors-type fence adjustment patented by Ellis Morris of Canton, Ohio, in 1871, and manufactured for a short period by Sandusky. This is the version that has an open rosewood tote and wedge with a thumbscrew to secure the wedge and the casting for a vertical nicker. Repainted, wingnuts holding fence replaced, no cutter. From the collection of Cliff Sapienza. Good 300-600
