b61-332 SMOOTHING PLANE. Weaver Patent. Patented by George Weaver of Hartford, CT, in 1875. The handful of known examples have cutters marked Middleton Tool Co. The plane shown in Figure 163 of PTAMPIA I but with a repaired tote. Rated R1 (fewer than five example ) by Larson & Blanchard. From the collection of Cliff Sapienza. Good+ 300-600
