B61-149 BRASS HALF-BACK SAW. Wm. McNiece. Uncommon early Philadelphia maker. 18" blade with good nib and clear stamp, 10-1/2 tpi, split nuts with uncommon six-point "excelsior" star "warranted superior" medallion. Handle has wear and scrapes but no damage. There's small hole drilled in the blade under the half back. Good+ 300-600
