B61-115 FORE PLANE. Johnson Patent. Not marked but the consignor's tag says it's the only known example of Andrew Johnson's 1879 patent and it does resemble the patent drawing, particularly in the cam-operated cutter holder. It also has an adjustable throat, and two adjustment slots for the wooden cap iron that aren't shown in the patent drawing. The whole thing has a handmade look to it and could be a prototype.
