B65-758 NAIL-HOLDING HAMMER. There's a photo of one of these on page 35 of Dave Pahl's "The Improved Hammer"; he just identifies it as a "Floppy Jaw" which seems kind of demeaning as it's actually a pretty clever design. The face is divided in two parts, with the lower part hinged and spring loaded so a nail can be inserted and protrudes from the face, just where you want it. There's a very faint mark on it that seems to include the word "patented" but if you can read the rest you have better eyes than we do. Clean and working, with original 11" handle.
