B65-690 SAW WITH BRASS PLATE. R. Waldo. 26" blade, 11 ppi cross cut, good nib, stamped with "R. Waldo", no rust or pitting. Handle is mahogany with a decorative cast brass plate with a patriotic eagle surrounded by stars, held by four cone-type nuts, and a lamb's tongue. There's also an eagle etched into the blade, very faint and barely visible. The handle has a large chip from the top horn, but otherwise very clean. Waldo was a British sawmaker who worked during the Civil War, and this saw was clearly made for the US market. Good+ 400-800
