B65-533 RABBET PLANE. S.C. Tatum & Co. Patented by George Hilles on 6/30/84 and sold by Samuel Tatum of Cincinnati. A handful of these are known, with different configurations. This one is identical to the one shown in Figure 173 of PTAMPIA I but without the patent date. Nice and clean, with 100% japanning. From the collection of David Jeffers. Fine 300-600
