B65-524 SMALL CHARIOT PLANE. Badger. Cast gunmetal body, 2-3/8" sole, 15/16" iron, dark ebony wedge with decorative scalloped lower edge. Stamped "Badger" on both the toe and iron. Charles Badger worked in London from 1856 to 1867 but rarely signed his work. Beautifully made and like new. From the collection of Steve Dice. Fine 500-1000
