B65-484 VERNIER COMPASS. W. & L.E. Gurley. 5" needle, silvered dial, original crossed levels at north and south, outkeeper, dial cover. Complete in its original mahogany box with sighting vanes and one of Gurley's telescopic sights that can be attached to one of the vanes, as well as original screwdriver and wrench. It also includes an example of the illuminated battery-powered backsight that was patented by F.J. Skrastin in 1951. Like new. From the collection of Chuck Morgan. Fine 600-1200
