B65-434 PATTERNMAKER'S PLANE WITH SET OF INTERCHANGEABLE SOLES. Cast brass plane body with squirrel tale and bun, looks like red beech. It includes six soles with matching cutters. What sets this set apart from others is that the body and extra soles are mounted around the edge of a six-sided drum, with mahogany end plates, each held in plane by rotating tabs, and with the cutters fastened to the screws that hold the soles to the body so they don't rattle around.
