B65-423 MODERN MAKER. Vesper Marking Gauge. 10" stem, 3-1/2" by 3" head with brass wear plate and locking knob. Marked by master Australian toolmaker Chris Vesper but not listed on his website. Wood looks like ridged gidgee, a very dense stable wood with pronounced grain that is a favorite of Australian makers. Like new. Fine 150-250
