B65-413 HANDSAW. Disston No. D-95 Masterpiece IOB. The D-95 used a handle made of two pieces of Tenite, a thermoplastic invented by George Eastman (the Kodak guy) in 1929, in contrasting colors, and was an attempt by Disston to prove that plastic handles didn't have to look cheap. They were offered from 1935 through 1950 in three color schemes, this one is green and brown. 26", 8 ppi crosscut. In near mint condition, box is intended for display with folding stand on back; has some wear but intact. From the collection of David Jeffers. Fine 100-200
