B65-339 JACK PLANE. Bailey Tool Co. Based on Joseph Bailey's 1871 patent for the cam lever cap. See PTAMPIA I, Figure 67. 13" sole, 2" original cutter with patent date and battleaxe. Metal a little grungy with japanning 90%, there's a split in the tote that's been reglued so well it's almost invisible. From the collection of Harold Unruh. Good+ 400-800
