B65-334 SMOOTHING PLANE. Standard Rule No. 4. Early prelateral version sold by Standard in the 1880s prior to the merger with Upson Nut and based on the Rusts' 1883 patent. 9" sole, proper marked 2" cutter, rosewood tote a little loose and may be a replacement. Nickel on lever cap worn, japanning 95%, rosewood tote and knob immaculate. From the collection of David Jeffers. Good+ 150-300
