B65-149 HALF-BACK SAW. Disston & Sons No. 8. One of Disston's rarer saws, designed to combine the accuracy of a backsaw with the depth of cut and pointed toe of a short panel saw. They were sold in lengths from 14" to 20", this one is 20", 12 tpi, very clear etch and no rust, 13/16" medallion, applewood handle, very clean. From the collection of David Jeffers. Fine 300-600
