B65-142 CHARIOT PLANE. Norris/Mathieson. Faintly marked by Mathieson on the top of the toe but clearly made by Norris for Mathieson. Steel body, 3-1/2" sole, gunmetal bridge, ebony wedge, unmarked 1-1/4" iron, very tight mouth. The strike button has been mashed and there's a chip in the wedge, otherwise very clean. From a legendary collection of infill planes. Good+ 300-500
