B65-70 MARKING GAUGE. Sisson Patent. Patented in 1870 by Henry Sisson of Rutland, VT, it uses a lever activated cam bearing against the stem to lock the head. One of the least common of the patented gauges, and it's almost unheard of to find one in good working order. Beech, 9" stem, oval head, good point, modest wear but no damage. Good+ 100-200
