B65-6 SWINGING FENCE MATCH PLANE. Stanley No. 48. Early japanned version with scrollwork on tote and large knurled brass locking screws. One of only a handful of known examples with Miller's 1875 patent stamped on the sole. One tiny chip from the bead of the knob, otherwise like new. From the collection of Ray Schmidt. Fine 150-250
