B64-396. DOUBLE IRON SASH PLANE. N. Taber. Whelan, page 341. 12" sole, rounded chamfers, relieved wedges, open tote repaired with an old nail, otherwise like new, noting one small chip ahead of left throat. A mark, very clear. Father of the better known J.M. Taber, Nicholas Taber worked in New Bedford through 1820. Condition: Fine, Estimate: 200-400
