Y-246. BANDSAW SETTING MACHINE. E.E. Cunningham. These gadgets are typically marked on the brass base, this one appears unmarked but it may be concealed by grime; we'll leave it to the buyer to clean it. Based on Cook's 1873 patent and manufactured by E.E. (or maybe A.E.) Cunningham of Worcester, Mass, crank operates brass arms that advance the band and a spring powered hammer to set the teeth. Unlike most this one is mounted on a cast iron base. Appears to be complete and working, mounted on an 8" by 6" wooden base.
