Y-238. FRUIT PICKER. Crider Patent. Patented in 1881 by H.M. Crider of York, PA, and manufactured by him. Consists of a cast iron circle with metal tines. You attach a sack to it, put it on the end of a handle, and you've got what Mr. Crider modestly described as the best fruit picker in the world.
