B-241. OGEE SCRAPER PLANE. John Moseley and Son. Very uncommon form of plane that we've never seen before. The cutter is bedded leaning slightly forward from vertical like a scraper plane but it?s a normal plane iron, not toothed or burred, and the profile is a lying ogee with quirk, 1-1/4" wide. 8" sole. The toe is actually marked "W.J. Armour from John Moseley & Son" with Moseley's Pimlico address. There are additional lines on both toe and heel that have been milled out. At one time owned by Jock Moody and marked with his stamp as well. Near fine condition noting a pattern of holes on the left cheek.
