B-638 AUTOMATIC NUT WRENCH. Pollock Patent. Manufactured by Wisconsin Stamped Steel of Madison. Spring-operated rack adjustment. Includes the attachment to convert it to a pipe wrench which is frequently missing, the upper jaw is formed of four sheets of steel instead of a single piece. Invented by Charles Pollock of Galesburg, IL, and marked "Patent Pending"; it was patented in Canada in 1908 but the US patent is unknown.
