B-206 BUTT LOCKING BEVEL. Avery Patent. Patented 8/6/1889 by William G. Avery of Chicago and manufactured by Avery, it also featured a graduated dial around the pivot to set angles. This is the shorter version with 3-5/8" handle and 6" blade, nickel is largely worn off and there is surface rust and user initials on the blade, but works smoothly.
